Once again, Mr. AG, you have validated the trust we have come to expect from your office. Also the competence! Man, if only we got those same values from, oh, say, a quarter of our elected officials...NC would be a shining beacon to the country! Kudos, sir!
Thank you, Jeff, for staying on top of the situation in the Department of Education and for representing and fighting for schools in North Carolina. As a retired public educator, I applaud your fight for our students. How I would like to see leadership like yours in our current administration.
Have you tried getting on as a guest with Steve Schmidt, Corbin Trent, and/or Brian Tyler Cohen? You can drop my name to get a “meet” convo if you want (although Schmidt may not recognize it.)
Thank you Jeff for your time to fight for our state. I'm curious about something. This 50 million dollar cut threat, is that coming from Trumps alleged punishment to NC over the 47% of illegal CDL license issue? Or is this threat different?
"North Carolina Attorney General Jeff Jackson has filed a federal lawsuit against the Trump administration for canceling $50 million in education grants to 18 Tar Heel school districts, including in Durham and Orange counties. ...
"The Education Department said its reason for canceling the community schools grants is that they promoted diversity, equity and inclusion, which the Trump administration maintains is against federal law."
Thank you for standing up for our schools and after school programs. How exactly was it being misspent? After school was the best part of school IMO. It was voluntary, nobody forced you into it. Looking forward to it kept people going all day. Why risk detention if it was going to make you miss sports or theater? That's what you're talking about, right? I didn't see those things listed, but I assume they're also included and it's not a different program. I also learned an additional language that wasn't being offered by my school after school. I came out of high school knowing some French and some Italian. Plus I could wire a sound stage.

This is what you get when a wrestler runs the department of education. Absolutely clueless.
Thanks Jeff for being honest unlike many in the public spotlight.
Thanks for your hard work and your clear and concise updates.
You need to be the US attorney general.
You need to be president!!!!!

It is so good having you watch over these critical needs!!!
Great work Jeff! Thanks for your time and effort.
Thank you for all you do Jeff and for your newsletter which is so helpful in understanding what is going on and why. Keep up the good work
Great job Jeff!!!
Thank you, Jeff!
Keep up the good work. As much as we miss your representation in Congress, we appreciate the work you're doing in North Carolina.
Jeff, you are a mensch and an outstanding AG.
I never doubted you would be.
