Y'know what I love about you? Your ability to focus on an issue and see it through to completion, regardless of distraction. That's how you get things done. Thank you!!!
Does this include the persistent texts we receive, including the political donation requests and smishing (pretending to be said candidates)? I receive 10+ per day. It's crazy!
Thank you for addressing this robocall issue. I see the robocalls as being part of the stolen identity scams that continue to plague the general population, particularly seniors.
And thank you for sharing your AG work via these emails. It's this kind of transparency that most, if not all, the NC population crave these days.
Jeff: continue your work with robocalls, we get messages stating "new legislation from the Trump administration regarding Medicare Benefits... " At that point I want to spit nails since the caller ID does not match the name of the person (robo-person) responding to the call if you let it go through. You never speak with a human and any efforts to state that you are on a No-Call list goes nowhere, since the stupid computers don't understand the request.. I get an average of 10 of these a day, first the mention of "trump" is the start of my aggravation, and the inability to get to a human is the second.. KEEP UP YOUR EFFORTS!!!
Good NYT article on your level-headed leadership and continuing efforts to protect North Carolinians from a host of legal abuses. Thank you and your staff for your work to reduce robocalls. When they come to our land line they are generally identified as “spam risk,” so it’s pretty clear that the telecom companies know that these are unwanted and potentially harmful calls.
We are retired and our phone rings constantly. We have subscribed to the Do-Not-Call registry and to Spectrum's controls. We have a blocking device on our line. NOTHING WORKS, The frequency of those calls keeps increasing. I would love to have a button I could push to forward ALL those calls to the office of my Congressional Rep, Deborah Ross but I would probably get arrested and she would continue to do nothing. All I get is stupid excuses when I complain to elected representatives. I hope you can be effective.
Sir, As an elder I usually don't bother commenting much on anything because I don't know where it will end up on the internet. But when it comes to you, I hope my comment reaches those who need to know. I enjoy listening to you because you don't shout when you speak. You speak clearly, decisively and to the point. You don't forget those who voted for you. And you address issued that pertain to us and not to yourself for personal gain (from what I can see and read.) Did I also mention that it is nice to look at someone good-looking and not yellow. Thank you for all you do. Son, you keep up your good work and I may vote again.
Always enjoy your updates and sharing with us what you are doing for our fine state. I have always said money is the driving force in most all interchanges between business and people. Start charging the "caller" a hefty "system admin fee" for each robocall made. That should put a speed bump in their calls while adding an additional dedicated revenue stream to our state roads and infrastructure budget needs.
Thanks Jeff, very helpful. Another topic: Is there anything the AG can do about election security? The split tickets and probability of the swing state results has us queasy about 24 and worried about future election reliability. Thx

Very kind, thanks.

I came here to ask the same thing. If you reply “STOP” as instructed, they somehow multiply.
Give what you can. Running for political office costs money. Our goal is to end this Republican nightmare.
I would suggest going directly to a candidate’s official page/website for donate, since you do not know where the robotext is coming from.
This!

Thank you for working to block the robocalls. Now, please tackle those awful texts, too! (See Stuart's comment below.)
Keep up the good work!
Thank you for your "speak softly and carry a big stick "approach !

Big supporter from Connecticut! We love the example you set of honest, consistent communication and down home results! No empty promises from you!
Same thoughts from the cesspool of Ohio! I’m a big fan.
Another fan from Connecticut!

Thank you for your commitment to the law and NC.

Great job, as usual Jeff Jackson!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU 😊
