I’ve voted as many times as I was able in the 20+ years I’ve been an eligible voter and I have never felt the weight of that privilege as much as I did yesterday walking into an early voting location in Raleigh. Proudly filled in your bubble. Hoping you are the start of a wave of transparent and even keeled leadership in North Carolina this election season!

Jeff, I am out here in Asheville rooting for you! I hope you can find time to come to the mountains because we have seen lots of Republican candidates (Trump twice) but we don't see you except for negative ads on TV. Our ravaged comm needs to see your honest face!

My wife and I, recently retired and newly relocated to Western NC, are very impressed with your lack of political party bias and excellent communication. We need more of this behavior in local, state, and (especially) federal government. We hope our support helps push you ahead, so that your example can be seen everywhere.

We put out your yard sign a couple of weeks ago here in Belmont, and instead of getting the expected hecklers in this deep-red area, I've been approached several times while working in the yard by people expressing their support for Democratic candidates in general and you, in particular!

I also see many more "Harris/Walz" signs than I did "Biden/Harris" in 2020, so taking that as a "sign" we might prevail in more races than expected, with you, Stein and Harris leading the charge.

Off to kick in one mo' time!

Please don't forget about Jackson County!!! I went to early vote yesterday and at the Democrat tent outside the poll the volunteer said she had no brochures for Jeff Jacson, only 1 sign. We need people in Western North Carolina to know who you are. WLOS news 5:30 and 6 and into the evening. I'm rooting for you and sharing your videos on fb.

I am utterly astounded that this race is tied. Setting aside Mr. Bishop’s personal characteristics (although I admit that’s hard to do), the fact that any N.C. citizen would vote for someone who has never tried a case and who associates himself closely with the Lieutenant Governor is deeply disappointing to me. It represents a level of ignorance, lack of critical thinking skills, and questionable ethical standards that I lay at the feet of our educational system and societal moral requirements. I am so tired of decades of people with substandard abilities, questionable ethics, and no dedication to the public good controlling all levels of government. Mr. Stein’s office has been one of the few bright lights in a government dominated by a legislature largely indifferent to its citizens – at least the ones with no influence. – and I know you would continue that tradition so you have to win,

I was wondering why Elon jumped on the Trump bandwagon. He could be the new Puppet Master. That means he would take over Putin's current post? Probably.

I don't believe there is any inhabitant of the computing world that has any concept of appropriateness or "the right thing to do." At least I've never met one. They may have superb technical competence but they have no expertise in any other area: human interaction, moral precepts, the public good, etc. That world is inhabited by greedy sociopaths who care for no one or nobody. There is no restraint: "If I can do it, I will do it." "If you get cheated, it's your fault." "I am not required to restrain myself in any way," I include people like Bill Gates, I might add, at least in the early days. Microsoft ran a number of very good companies out of business with better programs through unfair trade practices, but, alas, no legal authority was willing to take Microsoft on

Um, actually, Microsoft was sued twice by the Federal Govt, and a few other times by companies accusing it of unfait, monopolistic practices. All were settled, but requiring significant changes to Microsoft's practices.

Also, this year, Biden's FTC has taken on several Tech companies, most notably Google, which was Also found to be using it's near monopoly to "kill" competitors. Long live Lina Kahn, head of the FTC.

Don't give up hope! And Vote Blue to keep Kahn on the Job

Thanks for your encouragement. I never give up hope, though it dims sometimes. I've been waiting 60 years for things to change - with only the brief glimmer of the Clinton administration.

I didn't know this. Thank you. I view predatory business practices as a failure personal integrity, not a business strategy. I also think if you can't compete on product quality, then maybe you shouldn't try to compete.

Wish you’d be able to make it out to Western NC. It’s a red district, but we have an active, engaged and enthusiastic Democratic community. WNC will not go blue, but we are all about trimming the margins. We’ve been through a lot this past month, and are still going through a lot - it would be a great morale booster to see you.

You have to win!! The N&O is right, you are the only person right for this job. If we can't have you in DC, we need here, at home, protecting us!

I voted yesterday and could not have been more excited to fill in the little oval next to your name!

I'm unemployed right now, but I'm sending $10, just like I did from the last email!

Dear Jeff,

I have faith and confidence you will win the race and become our next Attorney General. My husband and I voted for you. I believe since the unveiling of Mark Robinson and his porn habit, Democrats have an excellent chance of securing the major offices in our state. My prayer is that we flip the NC Senate and the NC House so we can get a few things turned around--like vouchers.

My husband and I ran an errand for my daughter this morning in Haw River--she is a real estate agent. There is a HUGE billboard along the highway that said "Defund eduycation. Vote Republican." I could not believe it. I spelled education just like they had it on the billboard. Unbelievable.

Keep up the good work. We believe in you. Diane Howdeshell Greensboro, NC

Very interesting report from the frontlines. The adrenaline certainly is flowing. I'd love to donate but as a non-citizen I can't. It would be a different story if I were a Russian oligarch forking over millions to the Republicans. But to them different rules – or no rules – apply, of course.

Good luck, I keep my fingers crossed.
