Once again it takes an elected official NOT in my state to get something done that greatly affects me. I have already noticed a huge drop in robocalls. Thank you for all you do Jeff, PLEASE consider running for president to save what is left of this country.
Your son admitting he knew the password on his IPad says a lot about you and how you are raising your child, Jeff. Usually, this speaks how you will treat whom you represent. Just so you know, as a former foster parent for teenagers, in his teens he may resist, but that is when he will need hugs the most.
Second, I have learned how to deal with Robo Calls, even at 82. But your work is enough for me to donate toward your Lighthouse Fund - won't be much.
If permitted, I wish to say I am proud of you and the work you are doing; not only for the NC people, but actually reaching across the isle, so to speak, to other AGs for assistance.

Robo calls are not the only tech that is out of control. The number of emails being sent out with misleading titles from senders not associated with the named sender has reached an epidemic proportion...and the block mark as does not seem to prevent the same email occurring. I receive multiple emails indicating they are from reputable companies but they are not.
As a cybersecurity professional, I see the increase in sophistication using AI to craft these emails. Bad guys are now using AI to scrape social media accounts and craft emails that target the emails of those accounts with seemingly relevant messages. PLEASE do not click on ANYTHING in any email. As someone who has crafted phishing emails for tests, even the ‘Unsubscribe’ button can be malicious. If it looks like something you need to respond to, contact someone directly at the business or go to the site directly. The good guys are also using AI to combat the malicious use of it. Unfortunately for the time being it is only being used commercially (the development is expensive). It wont be long before it will be more widely available..
I use a password manager. It has field for the url of the logon/sign in to the web site. So when I get an email, I use this url to access the company website not the so, so, so convenient link in the email. I am going to have to use the manager anyway to get the password. All my passwords are randomly generated.
Wish we could duplicate you and send you all over the country. Thank you sir so much for your service to the people of this country. That is sorely missing at this time.
A great approach to solving the robocall issue. It's refreshing to see a politician acting in the best interest of the typical constituent.

Please - keep on with the war on RoboCalls. I am getting 10-15 PER DAY - - most are about my "new Medicare options."
