This is how government is supposed to work. Not flooding the zone with you know what, not soundbites twisted for partisan effect, not a bunch of noise to no outcome. This country needs more people like Jeff Jackson in public service. Full stop.
I'll say what you can't say. North Carolina residents need to vote out of office and/or keep from office people who do not believe in the rule of law and free, fair elections.
Yes, we pay for it. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy that AG Jackson fought & won this case but Griffin should have to reimburse the state for the cost. These were baseless claims that had little chance of succeeding & were meant to delay & disrupt our election process in the hope of eliminating valid votes.😳
Wow. The election happened in November and Griffin just conceded? This is embarrassing. What a complete waste of resources. These challenges need to have burden of proof and petty challenge clauses that allow a chargeback to the campaign from the state. That will make an arrogant candidate think twice and this will only happen in cases where the concern is legitimate.
Oh, look at me, waxing on about people using logic. Sorry, I forgot I live on Planet Earth.
Valid question. I do remember one or two of those ridiculous 'the election was rigged' cases where a judge fined lawyers for bringing a frivolous case.
I have been wondering about this as well. This certainly was very costly. Also, it seems that just conceding after all this time is a pretty mild consequence for all the disruption he has caused. And all the expenses incurred.
Is there any way that all of the citizens of NC and beyond can start a class action suit against Jefferson Griffin in an effort to reclaim the millions of extra dollars we spent in litigation fighting a fraudulent claim?
Thank you for all you do to help us with our pursuit of saving what sliver of a thread of democracy left here in NC!
You're doing the job the way you should do it. Concentrating on the facts and the law without the political strings attached that are permeating our government currently. I wish we could clone you into enough folks to clear out Congress of the politicians and get down to folks that really want our government to work for the benefit of its people and not for a singular person or group.

Ian Perkins is exactly correct irt not flooding the zone and needing more people like Jeff Jackson in public service. Great job Jeff and Ian.
I just opened the comment section to make exactly that comment.
Yes! FULL stop (emphatically)!
Jeff didn't do anything.
Well, yes he did. He defended voter's rights. What did you do today (other than troll the internet)?
Read what Jackson wrote and open your mind. Automatically being negative does not help you or our cause.
I'll say what you can't say. North Carolina residents need to vote out of office and/or keep from office people who do not believe in the rule of law and free, fair elections.
Thank you & your team, Jeff, for a job well done. Now bill Griffin & the GOP for the expense incurred by the State defending these ridiculous filings.
Yes who pays for all this litigation?? The tax payers?

Actually, Griffin has no business being a judge after that
Since he conceded, shouldn’t he be charged with election fraud?

And Jeff, kudos for the no comment until this was resolved.
Great job, Jeff! Thanks for seeing it through!
Awesome work!!! Serious question: is there any recourse (civil?) to sue on behalf of the taxpayers the millions wasted on this frivolous case?

Thank you for your hard work toward victory. I only wish they hadn't wasted taxpayer's money.
A question for the Honorable AG Jackson….
Is there any way that all of the citizens of NC and beyond can start a class action suit against Jefferson Griffin in an effort to reclaim the millions of extra dollars we spent in litigation fighting a fraudulent claim?

SO VERY GRATEFUL AND PROUD OF YOU! Great job!!
Congratulations to NC!
Jeff, you are the man.
You're doing the job the way you should do it. Concentrating on the facts and the law without the political strings attached that are permeating our government currently. I wish we could clone you into enough folks to clear out Congress of the politicians and get down to folks that really want our government to work for the benefit of its people and not for a singular person or group.
Good Job, Jeff!!
One of the best AG’s in the country! Way to go!
Fantastic job, team! And you are right. Griffin never should have started this petulant sore loser nonsense to begin with (last 7 words mine).
Thank goodness this finally resolved. You and your team deserve a big thanks from all of us who want our votes to be counted.
So glad the will of the voters prevailed, at last! Great Job!
Outstanding!
