If "Hey Jeff, what's up with the aliens?' is the question you get the most... this country is in far worse trouble than I thought! Regardless, thank you for your communications and your transparency about what's actually going on in Washington. I wish more representatives would adopt this strategy. The people that are being represented [us] deserve to know and to better understand how government responds to issues that affect us. We appreciate your efforts!

Re the most asked question, exactly my first thought.

The reason he gets the "what's up with aliens" question so often is that it's the most important thing happening right now by far.

They might not have the "aliens" part right, but they're getting how important this is. So have some hope about the rationality of your country.

You wish for Jeff or any one person to fix or know in great details about all of this? Or is this a general rant out of frustration? I’m trying to determine your demand/ask here.

There are a lot of places to gather info about these matters as some of it is constantly being reported on. While no one will be an expert on all of it, you find sources that are on each of these topics & get info from them & give feedback to them, right?

What I expect out of a freshman congressman is information & facts, to learn as he’s learning about the inner workings of our government which ultimately helps bridge the knowledge gaps that you speak of. Do you not understand that this is teaching people about the “government operation, participation and democratic responsibilities of citizens and representatives?”

Understanding how decisions are made & the motives of the people elected should move us to elect better people. When we elect better people we can get better policy that addresses some of the issues you mention.

He IS changing the image of the federal legislator - you are aware he is the only politician on TikTok with over 1 million followers and they are across the political spectrum. That may not seem like anything to you, but it is a prominent avenue & having these types of discussions opens the minds and the doors to having the heavier discussions as time goes on.

I do not expect a deep dive into every single one of these issues at this early stage in his time or his topics. That’s very unrealistic. Your passion is appreciated, though I believe misdirected. These are the questions you ask of those politicians with decades of decisions & inner workings & policy under their belts. Otherwise, it is like asking a math teacher to start teaching advanced calculus for a class that only understands fractions... Give him time.

He’s a rep in my state and I know his history. I also know it’s a different ballgame in Congress. Part of public service is providing info & building relationships & trust. The popularity comes from a fresh and clear delivery without the mud & dramatics.

It appears you are determined to demand answers on a multitude of longstanding issues from a source that you know you can’t get such answers from yet so that you can be right about whatever your thoughts are about another politician.

Julian Assange & Biden + Hunter? Really? Is that a sincere ask? Is that what you consider most people are thinking about as pressing real issues? You don’t think there’s enough info from other sources from which you can get info on those well-covered topics?

I suspect, even if Jeff did respond, the answers would not met your expectation...

You are the Bee's Knees, Congressman! You must spend a certain amount of time every week just kind of flabbergasted. Glad actual work is happening up there, we often wonder if partisan nonsense is choking off all else.

I don't live in NC anymore, but follow this account because you seem like the real deal - solid governance and a composed, level-headed debater. Please continue this stack and the good work you are doing on the Hill. Even though I can't legally support your candidacy as a Florida resident, I look on from afar with hope and confidence in a brighter future for our national leadership.

I can't vote for you either, Jeff, as an American living outside the US, but I also appreciate the time you spend helping us understand what's happening in Congress that's not grandstanding and partisan talking points.

This is why in MY social media I always call him "America's Congressman." Yes, he represents his constituents, but he does a lot more. He is filling in a lot of the gaps in people's knowledge of government since they seem to no longer teach civics in schools.

I would also recommend following Neil DeGrasse Tyson's thoughts on aliens. He has great common sense and understanding of the physics involved ... basically impossible that aliens have visited.

Jeff, thank you for being a mature adult with accurate, level headed, information distributing personality. Please please please don’t change. More than ever America needs serious considerate and respectful leadership. One request, especially in the AI arena. I ask that at least one of your staff becomes an expert on Elon Musk. He gets a lot of flack from both sides of the aisle-but he is doing amazing things for America and the good of humanity. See his EV adoption leadership and his advancing spacecraft in the US leadership; He is not perfect. He shoots from the hip. He is on the autistic spectrum which has bad and good influences on his personality. Some of the good, he is extraordinarily intelligent and he emotionally, mentally can not do something bad against humanity; much like Nikola Tesla. If an opportunity presents itself, please meet with him. I believe you are good at sizing up people. Thank you for all you do for your constituents and for our country; in the past, today and the future.

What you see as "good for humanity" I see as the alien in the Twilight Zone episode with the book called "To Serve Man" that turns out to be a cookbook on different ways to prepare homo sapiens for them to eat us.
