I'm not in your district (and therefore can't vote for you), but your down-to-earth, common sense descriptions of what's going on in DC makes me wish I was. If you ever decide to run for state-wide office, you'll absolutely have my vote.

Jeff the reason you hear from people all over the country is because we here in NC share your insights with our friends and family who are desperate for clear and honest insights into what is happening. The Supreme Court ruling in particular will be spun into a confusing speculative swirl within hours. Thank you for helping us sort things out.

Was talking to a self-identified "lean-R" acquaintance who has seen your TikTok, he said he likes that he can't tell if you're a D or an R.

He was also impressed with the way you're using that channel. Keep it up!

Jeff,

Even though you don't represent my district here in North Carolina, I feel as though you are representing all Americans. Thank you for your candid and highly informative emails. I appreciate finding them in my inbox.

Thanks for your rational vote against arming the attack subs. It's very difficult to understand the thinking of those who voted in favor! Not even in your state, but very much appreciate your insights. And 👏🏻 for the SC decision on gerrymandering.

I used to work with 688-class attack boats, putting conventional cruise missiles on attack boats is one thing, putting tactical nukes on them would be moronic, nuking people is absolutely not their job.

Thanks for these updates. Much clearer and cogent than the evening news or the talking heads on news channels.

I appreciate your reports here more than I can express. I frequently Share these with my friends on Facebook, because they are so clear, unbiased and relevant, not just to those of us in NC, but to folks all over the country. I will continue to boost your bandwidth. If more politicians were as transparent with us as you are our country would be in a MUCH better place. Thank you!

Jeff, I so appreciate your candid and honest writing. I don't live in your state but look forward to your monthly explanations of what is happening in Congress. Even listening or reading the newspapers does not quite give me all the clarity that you are able to deliver. You are my Mr Smith goes to Washington!
