Jeff, thanks SO much for an alternate path to helping fund your AG campaign. Just another example of you listening to the needs of your constituents. You'll be sorely missed in Congress, but very welcome as our next AG! Let's get 'er done!
Excellent work on fixing your area's weather radar gap by working with a colleague from across the aisle....the way it should be done. Your work shines in comparison to the kindergarten who are reducing salaries to a dollar in a petty manner. God only knows if the new Speaker can coax actual needed budget bills through without another circus. I am to the point of a weary, disgusted observer.
I so enjoy your updates even though I'm not in your state. I'd vote for you every time you ran with your way of doing things right. If only your integrity and common sense would be contagious in the rest of the House members. Keep up the good work!
You are a gifted explainer as only an Attorney General should be. A few bucks (literally) will come your way from Ohio because my wife and I recognize valuable talents and contributions like yours are needed.
Please someone update me "if it happens", but I'm over here starting to ROFL just thinking, "someone" is gonna read Chris's offer here and 'cow bells' are gonna go off in their head, as they reach for the tin foil. > Very kind of your good sir!
Jeff-- Thank you for your principled vote on the Tlaib censure even though Dan Bishop will use it against you. ..... and thank you for voting correctly on the Santos expulsion. Let Santos have his due process and then expel him!!! Rooting for you as AG.
Our local DA here in Durham just jumped into the primary against Jeff. Satana Deberry. Not sure what she hopes to accomplish with this although folks will enjoy her name. I have voted for her twice in Durham but she is hardly ready for a statewide race.
I look forward to hearing about your work and believe you will run a great campaign. I'm in true blue Buncombe County, but will do my best to help get you over the line! We are so lucky to have you!
How refreshing to read about members of a committee working "across the aisle" to make things happen to benefit the people they represent. Isn't that the way government should work?! Again, as always, thanks for keeping us informed!
Thank you to all of our elected representatives who make an effort to work “across the aisle” to serve the public good, and thank you Jeff for continuing to inform readers about the antics of those who seem more intent on self-promotion than moving forward with reasonable compromise.
I absolutely support your sane emails and work! I am thrilled to campaign for you as you run for attorney general and definitely again when you run for president of the USA!
I love your sense of humor, Jeff. Great photo at end that uses an image " to evoke a certain emotional response that connects to feelings of strength, valor, and patriotism." Another terrific column. Have you thought of offering to write columns or op eds for the New York Times and/or Washington Post?
Wild! A congressman that cares more about doing the people’s work than grandstanding in committees. Can’t wait for AG Jackson!!!

Enjoyed your writing.
Thanks for the feedback Gail, it means a lot. Subscribe if you would like to as I've got more posts in the pipeline!
Thanks for the updates!
You should have been our Senator!
Glad you are staying engaged after you we’re gerrymandered by the corrupt NCGOP

Also, example of real working MOC vs whatever it is the GOP does these days. Thanks, Jeff!

First part. Thank you so much for telling the tale of how good things can and do emerge from the fine-grinding wheels of government.
Second part. LMAO. Thank you for that, too!
