When did the Republican Party morph into Fight Club? I’m 82 years old, and I don’t remember this level of political animosity from either party in my lifetime. Looking at the past and what we’ve lost, I feel sad. Looking to the future I’m not seeing as much hope as I’d wish for my great-granddaughters. What must we do to change things? I’m ready to try.

I keep hoping that a non-Trumper Republication will be nominated by someone and will get support from a good handful of R's and Democrats and we will be done with this. Once this person is speaker, they can work with both sides to get our country moving, and the rest of the Rs can keep doing whatever they want.
