Those of us in his district hope that he'll still be in our district after the state legislature puts out the new map!

Thanks Jeff. You are my Representative in Congress and I’ll be volunteering for your 2024 campaign. You are the kind of Representative we all need. We have to keep you in Congress. We’re in this together.

The vision of a piano crashing down the stairs perfectly captures the majority-party situation, as well as the plight of the Government as a whole, these only-my-opinion-matters days. Thanks, as always, for the enlightenment!

Jeff, as long as you are there and working for the common good and for this country, I feel we have some hope of coming out of these impasses alive. Thank you, thank you.

Thanks as always for your timely update. I live in North Carolina but not in your district. Surely wish that I could send my vote your way!

No no no no no Gerrymander Gym, wrestling coach from Ohio.

Now that I’ve got that off my chest… for the moment anyway.

Thank you for being a sensible, honorable, and trustworthy House Rep. Stay safe from the crazies.

Thank you for sharing this most profound information. So sad to see how ineffective our government is working with persons in leadership positions not willing to do what is best for our country.

I keep hoping that a non-Trumper Republication will be nominated by someone and will get support from a good handful of R's and Democrats and we will be done with this. Once this person is speaker, they can work with both sides to get our country moving, and the rest of the Rs can keep doing whatever they want. I don't know how you deal with being around this lunacy. Bless you.

You are doing a great job, sir, but the NCGOP is corrupt as all get-out.

Next session I expect they'll try to save the state money by eliminating the Executive Branch.

This is like a bad dream!! I’m sorry but the GOP needs to grow up and be professional- enough is enough. Every day there are antics and frankly I’m tired of it. Who in their right mind would vote for this group?

I do appreciate you and your updates.

"piano crashing down the stairs" What a perfect and satisfying image.

Enjoy your time at home because when you go back, the Republican Hamas will still be eager to bring the country down.

Jeff, you're exactly what this country (and North Carolina) needs in leadership. Unfortunately, the Republicans in NC will eliminate your district as a viable competitive entity. My condolences to you and the entire state. It will be the model for the entire country, unfortunately.

Bad news.

I understand that “5 republicans” agreeing to bipartisan governing means bad personal consequences, but what if all republicans, outside the extremists, decided to do their damn job and govern!?
