Another wonderful post - so honest and wry. And I loved the Daily Show clip. I'm glad we will have a chance to elect you as our Attorney General next year. But, watching and listening to you on the Daily Show made me realize we really need you to be our presidential candidate in 2028!!

Every time I read this newsletter, you give me hope that my grandchildren will live in a better world. I am one of your constituents who will sadly miss your representation after the next election. I fill robbed by NC’s state government which does not share any belief in “the will of the people.”

There are 41,683 zip codes in the US. Using zip codes would lead to unequal distribution and could overlook demographic variations within larger areas.
As to your AG run: Dan Bishop is an embarrassment to common decency as evidenced by HB2 (the bathroom bill) which questioned the validity of an individual's sexual identity. I've given up trying to understand the motivations behind such cruel decision making.
NC needs you as AG because corruption is rampant in our state. As you aptly pointed out in your Daily Show appearance, a (good) AG fights for the rights of a state's citizenry. NC is rife with corruption largely owing to a Republican, ultra-right wing super majority. AGs prevent and/or fight corruption.
As you also mentioned in that interview, Democrats have also been guilty of gerrymandering in NC. Elections should accommodate all citizens equally to cast ballots in fair elections. BTW, your sense of humor made a very good showing.
NC will be lucky to have you represent us as AG and, then, US Senator and/or Governor.
Just when I thought The Daily Show had jumped the shark, they land the best political "get!" I may have to re-visit them... As for Dan Bishop and your race against him, I have to feel seriousness and professionalism will win out against - whatever he is. Keep up the good fight, sir!
Thanks for your report. It drives me nuts that the idiots can't see the dire need for aid to Ukraine. I guess they fell asleep in European and American history. Loved your take on Sun Tzu. This is a tough time for any extra money. I will be able to give you some in January.

Jeff your belief on whether a woman's rights are absolute when it comes to their bodies. Your views not your writer's views not your staff's views... I tried looking it up online and it was too ambivalent for me... So for the ignorant people out here the ones that can't understand all the gobblegook are you for a woman rights to be in charge of her own vagina, and abortion whether she wants one or not ....it's black and white for me.
