Your decision to not run for Congress again is understandable but also another reason why partisan gerrymandering has become the great scourge of our political life. Your newsletter has been terrific-- way beyond the usual puff-piece! Thanks for your clarity and intelligence (and for not insulting the intelligence of your readers).

Your letters are always refreshingly personal observations of "House" business as well as sharing a bit of your personal life. You so remind me of the character of Jimmy Stewart in the movie MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON. I'm upset with how the Republicans have gerrymanderd you out of office. The old boy network is still alive and well in North Carolina. I'm sure that whatever office you hold you will bring all your integrity with you.

Please continue posting when you are NC Attorney General! Of course, that’s a different world than Congress but, as citizens, the more informed we are about the workings of government, the better we can participate. Happy Holidays.

I am so going to miss these updates. I’m sorry. I wish it were different.

I, too, will miss these updates. I'll vote for you for AG and wish it was a higher office, like GOVERNOR!

thanks for the update, as always, Jeff!

you were fantastic on Daily Show, hope you get more spots like that one...

will be sharing with my small circle how much every single vote matters in your race, we got to make sure you're our AG and Josh Stein our governor.

you and yours have a wonderful holiday, a merry Christmas!

Currently, I receive occasional emails from AG Josh Stein's office. Josh's letters are informative, but not as engaging as yours are and will be. Honestly, given the current state of affairs, I'm afraid we need you more on the judicial side of things. North Carolina lacks public servants -- like you -- and rather, is crawling with common (meant pejoratively) politicians. I believe you'll be in be in a better position to defend democracy in Raleigh where, for example, you may be able to help bolster equality and justice under the law. Thank you for everything you've accomplished so far and I look forward to seeing you truly blossom.

It is important to note that Tuberville didn't cave completely, he's still holding the 11 most senior positions for reasons that aren't clear at all. For equally unclear reasons, the junior Senator from Missouri has, according to Punchbowl News, decided to join in the game. Both of them need to reassess their priorities and ensure that the safety and security of this country and their constituents is number 1.

The people of North Carolina will be very blessed to have you as AG and I wish you the best in your campaign.

Hi Jeff,

Just wanted to let you know that while I’m no longer a resident of my home state of NC, I am a small, but monthly contributor to your campaign simply because, after meeting you in Hendersonville, I felt you would be a great asset to what is still my state. You will make a marvelous Attorney General, as you have proved while in Congress. You communicate well and you love our state. Gerrymandering has always been and continues to be a scourge for voters. How else did Democrats stay in power in NC for 100 years before 2010? Such practices by legislators do nothing to instill confidence in our system of government and have to be curbed of not eradicated completely. I wish you and your family all the best this next year. In the meantime, have a Merry Christmas and an exciting as well as a successful 2024.

Your terrific vids are now a big part of your brand. I hope you have time to continue doing them during your campaign, updating us on the good people of North Carolina whom you get to meet. God Speed against the awful, hateful Dan Bishop.

Thank you, Jeff! You made good use of airport waiting!

Regarding Tuberville, I think he's holding up approval of the highest level generals with the purpose of hoping that Trump can select those with military power who would want to help him take over our government (cf. the Flynn brothers).

Not sure how to donate to your AG campaign, but will do what I can to find out.

I've been willing to volunteer on your campaign staff, but I've found it nearly impossible to reach you or your campaign staff -- too many gatekeepers. If you'd like my help, please write to me at timbrown74@gmail.com
